I'll just leave this here. My Summoner-D (Whom I affectionately call Nikki) unleashing her full fury upon an unfortunate Thunderbolt with her double UAC-5 chest cannons!

I should have some screen shots up soon. I will have many screenshots to go through and I keep taking more.

Oh, and I just got some good shots of a King Crab while piloting my King Crab.

I desperately hope that Speclava comes on here to post a screenshot of the BEST defence plan ever. During a CW match, the Omega generator was exposed, so we made an ablative wall of stacked Timberwolves... It was glorious.

Okay guys, I win this one.

Both mechs locked in combat in a 1v1 with both one hit to the CT from dying. Both mechs overheat trying to kill each other, resulting in a double suicide. In all the thousands of matches I've played, I've never seen this happen before.

Pardon my stupidity, I just woke up when I read this. Where's the typo?

I will be trying switching to very high, (Stupid high) source images of 5431x3044 (which I can play at 30fps.) and doing partial to heavy edits in an attempt to make it feel more like a camera. Now I know the cry engine can simulate a camera lens, but will MWO, allow me to play with those CVARs.

I think I need to bother Alexander, or Karl for this.

(It's in the T-Wolf shot)

Your quote "He dies to easily"

What it should be: "He dies too easily"

How will simulating a camera lens be different? Excuse my non-photographer ignorance here, just curious.

I can fake focal length with post editing.
I can fake motion with post editing.
I can fake over, and under exposure with post editing.

But with 'shutter speed' (which the Cry engine supports) I can emulate natural exposure time and to capture movement.
Example:
Spoiler

The focus of the image is the car, the car is in focus, but that picture was not created from 1 frame out of 60, that picture was likely taken from a 1/200th-1/60th of a second while panning to follow the car.

the closer I can get to creating that in engine (for the screenshot thread) the less work I would have to spend in post production to acheive that.

the engine already has powerfull frame blending, DoF/Motion Blur, I want to use it.

More examples of DoF | Focal Length (Focus spot) vs F-Stop (Focus Width)

74mm @ 'near' focus 2F-Stop
Posted Image

74mm @ 'far' focus 2F-Stop
Posted Image

74mm @ 'mid' focus 22F-Stop
Posted Image

Add on to this proper frame blending to give us better appearance of motion, I think I could do some fun stuff.

/camera rant.

still not 100% happy with it.

But after going through about 500 images, this was the most 'workable' one.

Something I did a few days ago, found this via google search then did some photoshoping. I like monochormatic colors in photos sometimes, so I did this. Give me a heads up if you know who took this screenshot and such.
