yes, and they all looked bad.

PPCs can only be caught well on slow moving mechs, or mechs standing still.

Front to back motion is ok, but side to side will ruin a PPC shot.

Was taking screenshots last night while playing. At the beginning of one battle, I decided to take a few screenshots of a Victor, turned around, snapped a few, back up a little, took another...
... Then, after backing up a little more and orienting my screen in a way that pleased me, I prepared to take one last screenshot when something happened. I began to move my hand off of my mouse to press my screenshot button when, all of a sudden, one of my ERPPCs fired, slamming into the Victor.

Mis-clicks, they happen but, rarely!

Edit, well, not really a click since it's usually from my palm making contact with the "mouse touch pad" on my laptop.

How to take screenshot without HUD? Also from 3rd person view without HUD too?
Dunno if the answer is in those 88 pages but it's not there.

I am taking pictures from the cockpit of my Commando-2D on the second view level, you hold Right-Shift+F11 to disable the hud.

It's also possible to do it in other mechs. I'm quite fond of the mist lynx when taking screenshots. A short height means I can angle up and down with them. Plus jump jets mean I can take screenshots while flying :D

look don't take this the wrong way, as I'm not meaning it to be insulting, truly... If you want to be the "ultimate camera man" in MWO you really need to look up the rule of thirds, composition, while keeping your artistic view. I understand that these are taken in live battles and so on but as a professional photographer in real life these things are driving my OCD for such things bat !@#! crazy... lol.... I have done a ton of screens for Eve Online, iRacing, many flight sims, and MMO's. So speaking from experience they work just as taking photographs do, and need to be treated as such for the best results. Just some free friendly advice from another screenshot junky... You do have some good sceens....

No this is exactly what I have been asking for, and never getting. Please would you be ever so kind as to offer critique on what is "good" and what is "bad".

I would be like to be apart of your modeling team when the Enforcer comes out next week, and I can paint it in true RRB colors like it should be :D

ok here is just a quick and dirty example of third lines to give you an idea. it is just the simple crop tool in PS but it shows the 3rd lines clearly so you can get the general idea.

if you would have looked a bit more to the left and brought that third line over the cockpit center line of the Direwolf it would look better as well as brought the maddog more into the scene.

basically just put an imaginary tic-tac-toe board on your screen that is cut into evenly space 3rd lines and there you have it.

Oh just another simple trick of comp. If they are looking to the right of your screen put them on the left third line. If they are looking left, put them on the right third line. It gives the scene more depth to the effect of they are looking at something, going somewhere or a purpose in general. Anyway, if I can help with anything just let me know...

You are taking this into the view of someone who has seen this for the first time. Although you are correct, it is very hard to get screenshots that are this good. As well as that, consider the fact that every mech is moving, and there is a delay in when the screenshot is taken(even if it is a small delay). Asside from that, if you have not noticed it yet, there is a dual AC of some sort next/beside the Dire Wolf Firing, thus even giving more information on it: Lorded was around battle while all this was going on, and he managed to get a good screenshot off, even if it doesn't follow the rule of thirds.

He asked for help and advice, so I gave it to him... Don't be a fanboy...
