How do the videos look anyways? I keep playing with encoding settings to try to make Youtube not butcher the video quality.

How do you do that? .avi containers, higher resolution to trick youtube into giving you more bitrate?

Neg, I am using x264 encoding to a .mp4

I am using a single RF pass of 25 on the slowest encode level (takes a while, but 8 cores helps) and I am throwing the audio down to Lame MP3 @ 96bit

Thats pretty much what I do everytime too. Large, uncompressed .avi files seem to not get butchered so much. Not sure if Audio-Crippling really helps the cause...
Also, you can scale the recordings up to 2K or 4K, youtube gives you ~20 mbit at 4K instead of ~3mbit at 1080p

Just export it in 2K. 4K breaks the yt player, but 2K works fine. As you can see here, the image you get is way more crisp due to yt giving you way more bitrate.

Oh and stick away from 60fps. Since bitrate is measured in per second, thats half the bitrate again for every frame.

Be sure to save any photos you want to save, my domain is getting very slow and I am displeased with the performance I have been getting vs what I pay. So I will be canceling my service. All photos will disappear in the threads when this happens.

To whom are concerned. I have over 4gb of screenshots spread throughout this thread, it uses good chunk of bandwidth which my provider has decided to start throttling me on heavily. (I pay for 100gb a month) I may simply just start only using my DA account for posting screenshots.

I am sorry if anyone missed any caps they really wanted, but fret not, I will still be posting screenshots, just less of them, BUT of higher quality though my DA account.
