Stalkers, Awesomes and Battlemasters are the most common Assault mechs in the Lyran military (of the ones in game - we are excluding the Zeus and Banshee). They even have more Highlanders than Atlases. (see this)

I'll make some Awesome patterns soon (pun intended) which I'll run some as each Liao and Steiner colors. Also looking forward to getting access to the Wolverine and Griffin.

Upon further investigation and actually seeing royal guard paint schemes on the tabletop models, I think "Raider" pattern would look good but that will need to wait until it goes on sale. In the mean time I'll use what I've got. Least now I know they are blue dominant not white dominant.

I've a pretty photogenic bunch a' mechs that I wouldn't mind being shot by Red. (that sounded wrong.)

Lordred has videos. But he records are a normal 1080 resolution for them. His channel is here. Occasionally you can also see him in my vids typically rocking Feldgrau, Black and Turmeric.



Any particular mechs? If not then that's gonna wind up on a Steiner Scout Lance.

That's how some of those mentioned in the past got their mechs up. Drop with us any time.

Eastern Standard Time here. Lordred usually starts between 8 PM to 12 AM depending on how good or bad MWO is being to us. Sometimes he stops playing earlier than that.

Titanium White and Cobalt are the colors you're looking for. (I don't have Cobalt yet myself, will next time it's on sale).

The 5th RCT uses Blue, White and a third color for the unit, so depending on the mech we'll run them as colors 1, 2, and 3 to get the effect we want. It generally looks pretty sharp, but then again, I run on the lowest settings and really never get to see my mech

Edit: I see Kon got some for you. Why does your mech bay look so much better than mine? Mine looks like a big blurry mess. I also think he used a different Blue, but it looks nice.

"Very high" settings. Also restored the 60 FOV for it. I've got Hellblau, Cobalt reminded me too much of Basic Blue due to its dark nature and was too expensive, though I may get it in the future.

My FOV is normally 100. Making my mechlab look like this.

I'll try cranking up the settings for the menu. My PC should be able to handle that

Edit: Yup, HUGE difference in the lab. Sad that it does make a difference, since the menu runs just fine at those settings (I doubt the game would). Wish I'd known that durring the last Camo sale, as I decided against a few because I couldn't preview them very well (Wanted a camo to have 3 colors on my stalkers, ended up with Sherman).

Every camo except Dazzle can use up to 3 colors. Sherman for example uses 2 colors for the pattern and a third for the star. Woodland on some mechs gets a non-optional fourth color (black) added in. Blackjacks are notorious for this but it looks really good, too. They are not alone, however.

What I really love is Buccaneer. On certain mechs with lots of uniquely shaped variants, it will say very different things depending on what variant you use.

Yup. Shame, I liked Dazzle.

Default Stalker doesn't really have a 3rd color either.

It's a highlight in a few small places. Very tiny. A decal decoration, and some minor lines. That's common among many actually.
