Well, technically speaking, the first 2 drawings on your Vindicator picture are a good start for an ortho.
Just clean them up and remove the PPC arm from the side one and it should be enough for Sparks.

After them I would be happy to colour the Vindicator, people seem to like it very much

By orthographic you mean a bit more boxed version of it so the proportions are more deliberate? Would something close an izometric angle do in that case?
Love the art style. Laser Swords on a Centy aren't my thing (I'm one of the conservative ones), but the Art style is bold, and really has cool energy to it.....
The Vindi is pretty cool too. The end result might be to stylized for "MWO" style but as just plain cool art? Score.
The only one I can't feel so much is the WHM-6R. Like I said, I'm conservative.... and the Hammer has been my personal ride for 25 years. So I am biased as heck, lol. Mostly it's just that the CT/ H seem too incongruous compared to the rest of the design, and unfinished.....
But also, IMO< especially with the unseen, it's important to make new art, but to have it visually be easy to connect to the original, since the Unseen were what brought a lot of us into the game. If you look through the section, I've done a lot of the unseen myself, with "my interpretations" and boy howdy, the flamefests can get pretty bad........
Still, love your stuff. Would love to take your ideas for the Vindy and combine them with the proportions Alex came up with on his concept sketch, ... I think it would be pure and utter win....... In fact, I think I will play with that idea myself later today.
Anyhow, keep it up, love seeing great new art work on here seems like since Open Beta, traffic on here has tapered...... but more artists sharing and critiquing can only be better for all of us, IMO>

I see what you mean. About Warhammer, in fact I actually drew what just imaged in my mind as I read the Warrior; trilogy from Battletech novels, so for me the big ct was not that "extravagant". Sometimes my imagination goes wild; and doesn't always on the right path XD
In any case; the only thing that saddens me is that I'm having rehabilitation exercises on my arms since the last month (from overuse ^^), and I can't devote myself to the sketching which I love. I am married with my tablet, and I have zillions of things to draw in my head, but I can't pour it out effectively for now, so sorry for the lack of detail on my work beforehand. If you've checked my deviant you'll see I'm actually a detail freak.
The next on my schedule is a Timber Wolf and I've got other real nice sketches I should wrap up, but after the Timber Wolf I will make the orthographic for Vindicator that Sparks Murphey wanted to turn into a 3D model, so you may see a real nice collab. from us; the guy knows his stuff. Stay tuned!

Yeah, Sparks has a few irons in the fire, and I can't wait to see what comes to fruition. Hopefully we can have your Vinndicator duking it out with my Urbanmech soon.

It's been a hectic week at my job and I was at work almost 18 of 24. I only had time to fix this sketch I had from before in 15 mins and put it here; so I couldn't make it, but next up is my ortho Vindy...

Hmm it's actually not a bad idea, never thought of that.
I don't think they're not very different than a catapult's version though, only sideways. The reason I did them like that was somewhat because I observed in the matches that when the open bay doors are vertical, they give away the position of the mech when firing from cover or pre-engagement.
Wıth the octagon-shaped launcher I used I could even use the bay doors like a pizza(just throwing it out there, I know its crazy ^^) Anyway; Thanks for the idea!
