I supported the game by buying the legendary pack. I've bought one Hero mech (Ilya) when we had Repair and Rearm eating up C-bills, and it was good for the Cbill bonus then. Now however, generating Cbills is ridiculously easy. I have no incentive now to buy ANY hero mechs. I would be incentivized to buy by any of the following:
1st) Put Repair back in game (DO NOT put Ream)
-Why? There now is a Cbill sink. Intead of generating 150K Cbills a game, on death I'd generate ZERO to 50K cbills.
2nd) Give hero mechs 1 Omnipoint hard point
-Why? Now the mech actually has one slot that can fit anything and there is a strong incentive for everyone who has a certain favorite (energy, ballistic, missile) that they can add in one more weapon
3rd) Give hero mechs the ability to generate MC
-Why? There is no Cbill sink. Put in a mechanism where a player can generate MC playing that mech and people will flock to the build. Just make it where it would be all but impossible to recover 60% of the MC cost. You'd also give people a reward for good play. Cbills ain't cutting it.
4th) Give hero mechs the best hard points in the chassis
-Why? If I'm going to pay $40, then that mech had better give me capabilities that other mechs in the family can't recreate.
5th) Ability to change the colors in the camo on Heros (least likely to make me buy)
-Why? People like customization. Why would anyone want to run the exact same looking Yen Lo Wang with white and red when they could go Black and White, Purple and Orange, Red and Black etc etc

Please Make Hero Mechs Something I'd Buy

So basically you want Hero Mechs to be Pay-2-Win. Got it.

Your suggestions would put hero mechs squarely in the "Pay to win" category. That would be a deadly mistake for PGI.

the only thing I eagre with is the implicatrion that hero mechs aren't equal to others...Pretty baby has a tyerrible hardpoint loadout. I didn't expect it to be better but i'd have expected it to be comparable. you get the 30% cbill boost which is nice. but for that and a paint job which is worethless. (anyone paying cash to paint mechs at these prices is a fool be seperated from his money.) other than that it's a substandard awsome that can carry a bigger engine.
in a system with stupid and arbitrary engine rules

If they did that then it would Hero Mechs 24/7 and nothing else. Not to mention the massive cries of "Pay to Win".
