Essentially what goes on is these guys tell you what you can and cannot say in the game, out of the game or anywhere inbetween and if someone in charge decides they didn't like what you said...boom..headshot..you get kick/banned regardless of the "friends" and "good times" to be had.

Just be sure not to let your members post threads on the internet anywhere about their real life opinions related to AOD, games, life, the price of tea in China, etc or you will have to ban them from AOD.

I don't follow you guys around the internet saying nasty things to you so I'd appreciate you didn't do it here to me. You both repeatedly broke rules which you agreed to when you joined the WoT division, there was no mysterious reason for it; as adults the two of you were fully conscious of what that entitled. To say anything else is just dissembling.
I'm sorry your experience with AOD wasn't as positive as mine, but there is no justification for making posts like that about something that happened quite a while ago in a different division, led by a different person, with different rules. Grow up, move on, and let go.

You have no idea what I did or didn't do to be kicked for sure. I didn't repeatedly break any rules that I was aware of than free speech. What happened was the guy running the clan(Josh-aka Godshands) didn't like me making a one post/comment in a game forum and kicked me for it instead of being an adult about it.
No one followed you on the internet. Imagine my surprise to find a recruiting thread from a clan, with nearly zero social skills, in the same new game I happen to going to play.
I suppose it's been great to have clan members who are forum moderators, in the other game we all played, who delete, lock or read only ban people from even talking about AOD. Welcome to a new forum/game where the clan's history and action towards loyal members follows it around.
I do hope you all enjoy MWO just like anyone else.

But there's so much more drama if we do!
On a more serious note this is the behavior that can get you the boot. I've had my own issues and concerns that I've taken to officers in PMs and IMs via Vent and I've never been brushed off when going through channels. During my short stint as an officer I had issues brought to me, so I know not every issue can be resolved to everyone's satisfaction; things happen and it's how we deal with them that defines our ethics. You don't have to like the structure, but if you want to stick around you have to adhere to it.
For the record I am not an officer in AOD (unless I stand to profit in some nefarious way).

On a side note, as being members of a few different clans and being part of the executive leadership in one this is my stance on any issues.
You are part of a gaming community that someone started. If you do something and one of these people dont like you who cares if they boot you. Move on. Its pretty childish to post negative comments in a recruitment thread even if you stumble apon it and even if you were "wrongfully" booted.
Bottom line is, give me a break. If I make a clan, you can damn well believe I will boot you if I want to or if one of my close trusted friends wants to with what I feel is a good reason. No matter what the rules of conduct may say its never truly anything other than a dictatorship.
My two cents.

Wolvenhaven said "dissembling" ...tee hee....
I ran a large clan in MW4 that had a huge growth rate as soon as word got out of our principle of promoting a fun environment for the gamming community as a whole. I can tell you that it is impossible to create a large dedicated and skilled group like that without finding those that want to join for the benefits knowing full well that they have no intent to or ability to be of benefit to there fellow players. No matter what level of tolerance was applied to each case, if the player could not be swayed to a better understanding of the concept of fun for all and were stripped of tags, they felt that the clan was in the wrong. If every on else in the clan can believe so strongly in such a simple principle as this and your not able to understand why your actions have resulted in your being asked to leave and your looking at the clan for the blame; you basically are demonstrating why your not the best choice for a clan with those principles.
Its one thing to feel that a group is not for you, your free choice, bless that you have freedom. It's another to walk into that groups house party, jump on the table and announce that you disagree with there rules.
I respect your opinions and your right to have them. If we meet on the field of battle, I’ll buy you a beer before I kill you. Now please, get off our table. Let me call you a taxi…
For those of you that do get it, check out AOD. The more I see, the more I like… Except for Wolvenhaven, I like him better if don’t look at him.
…and now for something completely different. A horse that couldn’t decide on left or right.

Thanks!
Down in 281 area here. League City/Webster area. Used to be a 713er myself.
Just got accepted in the unit, figured I would toss together a sig real fast. Had to make two since AOD has a sig limit of 500x250px and MWO has a limit of like 720x80 or something like that.
Just the MWO Founder Backround changed around with the added credentials.

I got picked on for it but I'll just help you instead. (poke at Wolvenhaven) It's more of the AOD way.
First copy the “Long Link” URL for the You Tube video by selecting the “Share” box below the video.
This will give you the “Short Link” URL that will not work for what your doing. To switch to the “Long Link” select “Options” just below the “Short Link” URL. This will display the “Options” menu with several check boxes.
Check the box for ‘Long Link” and the URL above the “Options” menu will change from something like
http: //youtu.be/F6UOqEtzG7g
to
http: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6UOqEtzG7g
You can recognize it as a long link by the v=(some strange code)
Copy this link to your clipboard and go to make your post.
Paste the "Long Link" into the body of the forms post.
Once you post or preview the post, the full You Tube video will be shown instead of just the link.
Just remember, me love you Long Link...
