Suggestion:

A toggle mode for AMS (LRM mode) and (SSRM / SRM mode) which increases accuracy / response time against that specific missile type in exchange for a penalty against the other missile type.

A combination of improved response time, improved accuracy, altered range to allow +2 / -2 change to number of missiles destroyed.
