It's not the age that makes players have trouble shooting.

It's the alcohol. MechWarriors seem to love drinking and I seem to remember at least 1 clan back in the mid to late 90's that was all about piloting while drunk. Those with better tolerance can still shoot straight, it's often the young guys with lower tolerance that have a bit of trouble.

I'm 36 and can still shoot straight when drinking... most of the time anyway.

LoL!

3 drink minimum before getting in the cockpit!

Huh, never thought I'd be saying that one again... at least this time it's a game :P

Any chance you could add brackets up to 90 or so? I'm a very young 38 and I know lots of players older than me and this poll makes me feel old!

Lol @ poll.

Seriously though, there's a whole shed load of money to be made from these man-children fanboys who now have the disposable income and network infrastructure to engage in and indulge their nostalgic hobbies and interests dialed up to 11 with modern technology.

Somethings I'd recommend:

Physical merchandise: Obvious crap like mugs, shirts, etc.
But also: Mech plushies. I suggest starting with the Jenner, the Hunchie, the Catapult and Atlas.
Mech statues and mech miniatures: Pair up with Topps if need be. License them your mech designs for some royalty, pair up in a win win win situation (mech fans, PGI/IGP, Topps).

Smashing, MWO branded top hats, monocles, canes and perhaps a smoking jacket perchance might go swimmingly with the good chaps as well my good sirs.

Thankfully I'm not in the ranks of all the silver hairs in the 31+ group. Only turned 30 in Feb. :-P

Based on the poll. I just found the early mech prototype from the 21th century. I think it's a jenner, not quite sure, need to check sarna for the lore.

I'm at 36 now, so I think the last option in the poll justifies this...

I'm not sure how to think of the classification of "31 and older" implying 31 as "old"..... :D I'm only 33 dammit! I'm not old!!!!

33 is old. Of course, I'm 43 later this year so I'm ancient!
And on PC gaming in general, how on earth would a 17-year old have $2,000-$3,000 for a semi-serious gaming rig? Bank of M&D? My parents would have had cattle.

I'll admit I can only have one serious single malt and still hit the red triangles (or three bottles of beer). Maybe that explains my KDR...

I believe, the other age polls are in off-topic (to lazy to look, right now, didn't have my coffee yet), so this one will go there as well.

I happen to be 14, and I assure you that I do not act like that, never have, and never will.

Of course you don't, his imitation was of a 13 year old. :D

Yeah I think the original poster underestimated the number of people on the very last option (more than 50% as I post), otherwise he would have more age brackets on that range.

The categories for this poll are indicative of a young person's mind set.

means moot because we are not the player base that PGI is looking for...
