As the game stands, it is quite possible to make 250,000 C-Bills a match. Let us imagine the game has been running, from now until launch - a year or more beyond launch.

You have bought all the mechs you are inclined to. You are, ridiculously, filthy rich. You have 10M C-Bills, 100M C-Bills, 500M C-Bills.

What do you imagine you will be spending those C-Bills on?

Screenshots to post on the forums, of course.

Edit: e-peen is only as good as the proof used to demonstrate it!

Care to elaborate, as to why you think you will need such sums?

Anyone wish to post & prove they are the richest player to date?

I am pretty sure there is going to be a HUGE money sink in CW, like investing in planetary defences, bombardment, building space stations, hangars, hiring mercs, investing in R'n'D to get clan tech etc. etc.

Don't forget we don't know how community warfare will work. You might have to pay for drop and jumpship services or even buy those vehicles outright. Add to that repair and rearm; it would make sense for them to bring that back to be a part of community warfare.

then of course there are new mechs, maybe new ammo types, new consumables as someone else mentioned, ect. being a mech warrior can get real expensive. I'm sure they'll find ways to make it so that realistically people will want to be buying premium time consistantly to keep their warchests full.

My boss has over 35mil C-Bills right now. I never get above 10mil before I buy something. Or save it for the next mechs to launch. I also use consumables almost every match.

Sarna.net shows that the cost to buy a Union class dropship (capable of moving 12 mechs) as 160M C-Bills. Interesting.

...Are there any battletech price guides on hiring jumpships / dropships?

edit: Heh. I just had an evil thought. Hero class Dropships. Hee.
