I created a Rifle Hammer back in the day that incorporated a Warhammer body with the SRM 6 pod, a Warhammer arm with its PPC and then a Rifleman's arm incorporating a Large Laser and an AC 5. A small laser covered the rear arc and a pair of medium lasers were housed in the torso. All in all was a lot of fun to play with and to build. Too bad I don't have the model anymore.

My fav' was a custom assault that I'd made for a campaign at my local store. It was basically a 100-ton Marauder with twin gauss rifles where the AC/5 normally is (among other alterations). The figure was a stock Marauder figure, but I put a Rifleman arm up top. Worked quite nicely.

I had lots of warhammer parts so i cut two down front-back and stuck the two fronts togther. I removed the srm6 and mirrored the rest of the torso weapons front and back. The arm mount weapons nad no lower arm actuators so they could flip. Then I even out the front and back armor so they were the same. Using the optional reverse knees rule so I could make it move backwards as fast as forwards, I named the 'mech mirror-mirror. When damage got high, it would flip its arms and keep fighting on the opposite side with fresh armor. It was intented so that there was very little way to tell if you were facing the front or the back of the machine and to lengthen its combat time by making use of the back armor which in most circumstances was rarely made use of.

Without the reverse knees rule, i would send it into battle backward, then swap to the front side when damage got high enough (or when it needed running speed)
