This sounds great, I would gladly swap my River City Night marathons that I seem to get all the time.

Tourmaline came out last month. I was looking at my stats and it's the map i've played the most with 16 hours of gameplay and 149 matches. My second most played map, frozen city, has 9 hours and 49 minutes of gameplay and almost 110 matches.

Maybe it just feels that way because 80% of your gaming time is spent looking for opponents on those maps .

Honestly I wonder if the dramatic reduction in online friends is because half the people playing had altered their installation so they would not have to play maps they don't like. That was recently "fixed."

Who else has had the misfortune of spending almost an entire match without firing a shot because they couldn't find anyone to shoot at?

If so, you are doing something wrong.

Even with my slow Highlander i always find a guy to shot at.

I believe that the selection is weighted to give about 25% Alp, 25% Tourmaline, and 50% the others- but because each variant (i.e. river city night) gives additional weight to the probability of some form of that map being picked, and caustic has no variants, it rarely comes up. I never thought I would miss that map, but here I am. It especially doesn't seem so bad now that the drop rate is so high on Alpine.

go look at your map stats, dude. I certain that two maps alone do not compose 80% of your games.

Also, your forum signature, PFFT. I have done way better with less kills.

It doesn't happen often- only twice so far, once just now, and once a while ago- but it does happen.

But have you ever seen 8 kills by one person? lol.

Yea, i've had rounds where i've done 1600 damage, 6 kills.... but why post something boring? I've never seen anyone do 8 kills before... not even 7.
