Zone control requires a mech in the area to earn points.

Zones can be controlled, and the bar fills up; when no mechs are present, the zone's bar will slowly decrease until the zone is neutral.

Decrease the score cap slightly. Maybe remove/relocate the starting zones so that it's less of a line. Would make for far fewer annoying matches where one team is simply not given any lights, making it a relatively easy win by points for the other team. This way, at least those lights couldn't just go cap, then join combat; they'd have to stay at the area to score.

Or even make it a new mode, with only 3 areas, so the team with the scoring advantage is at a slight combat disadvantage.

I suggested some new modules.

Mine Layer and Guard Turrets.
- These would be dropped around the cap zones or approaches to caps which would alert you sooner so you could start back sooner or even damage mechs which race to cap.

A mech could take out the Turret - but couldn't just stand there and cap - would give time for defending team's larger mechs to get back.
