I didnt saw thread about it (if it was suggested before i apologize).

It would be awesome t fight in day/night cycle or in diffrent weather conditions for bigger immersion by having sight range reduced by random factors.

What you all think about this?

as we have Magnetic detection and Thermal view, weather would not be such a great factor I think, but lovely to see

Weather could be implemented in various ways. Storms (sand/rain) could affect lasers, lightning storms could affect missiles. Not sure what could be used for ballistic but I'm sure something could be thought up

Yeah this has been discussed. PGI said it won't be in the game at release, but it is something they'll take a look at down the line to see if it is worth implementation.

I'd love to see a day/night cycle and weather effects.

Day/Night cycle would be great, especially with the weapon lighting effects. MW:LL has a few maps with this and Planetside 2 has it as well. Its be really cool, if anything as an aesthetic

Along with this, I expect weather to effect heat. Also I hope jumping into a river or any body of water to effect heat as well.

Jumping into water would only aid in heat dissipation on the heat sinks if they are physically located in an area that is currently under water. i.e., if you put sinks on the upper torso and just got your legs into the water, you would not see an increase in heat dissipation.

It has already been said that standing in a river or lake will help cooling for any heat sinks that are under the water level. They have not said anything about the weather affecting heat though.

I think there was talk of there being 4 primarily different environments (jungle/forrest, city, tundra(cold) and desert(hot)). In that discussion they did hint that environmental weather would have an effect on heat dissipation abilities.

The only map we've seen so far is "Forrest Colony".

I think i read something in the dev blogs saying stuff like this would eventually be implement. So we could also need Searchlights and Flare launchers. Mechs designed with heat sinks in feet to take advantage of shallow water needed. Thermal and magscan sensors should be used for tracking mechs at night. I think the battle enviroment should be set up with advantages and disadvantage to both sides and the sucessful teams should be the ones that are quick to adapt.
