I joined the Aces a couple of weeks ago, and definitely have no regret. I continue to be impressed by the level of activity in the unit, and in particular how the Aces cater to all types of players. There's companies for hardcore meta play, casual, semi-casual, tactical styles (focusing on tactics but not forcing the meta), chatty drops, all-business drops, and so on.

There's even a system of RP drops where RPers go off against OPFOR groups, using stock mechs which are slowly upgraded. It's basically using MWO for tabletop style careers.

So, if you're looking for a good unit, join the Aces Wild!! :)

I've been with Aces Wild - Charlie company for a year now and it's been the best unit I've been with in MWO. AW walks the line between casual and competitive play nicely. Join Aces Wild and you will see how much funner it is playing MWO when you have friends helping you get better and hanging out when you play.

Also, let us face it, it is better to give then to receive. Being part of a team allows you to kill the enemy more times than not and live longer. If I may add, the Aces Wild group are way cool. Find the Company most like your personality and make some friends (Hint: the cool, fun loving, guys are in Charlie Company).
