Large scale meta? Give it to the goons, they'll find flaws. Then report them via demonstration. Probably take them one month at the outside.

Goons are welcome to join my unit for this purpose but if they have their own plans, all the better! Recruitment thread linked in my signature.

I think there will be more problems getting factions/mercenary groups to work than the actual CW map. I can see problems in adding/removing people from mercenary companies and things like that.

CW I hope gives this game what it needs, that unique reason to play. However with out me guiding the ship I am sure she is headed for the rocks.

I imagine a CW market place of contracts for mercenary hire that we can trade all day long at school and work on our smart phones. So when I buy and sell contracts on this touch screen simple app I am actually buying and selling people battling in MWO. This would instantly make this game a huge new concept and if proven it would define its place in gaming history and the Mechwarrior Franchise.

Since you need less people running planets and hiring mercs sell that package at a huge markup. Make people pay if they wanna be lords of a PLanet.

This part sounds ever so familiar for some reason. I am sure I have read it some where before!

What I'm wondering is what's stopping a large number of people from all creating smurfs, joining a particular House, and continually TK'ing and AFK'ing to drive down that House's numbers?

The obvious solution is to introduce a leveling system with a level requirement for participating in CW, but from what we've been told, that doesn't seem likely.

I sucks that no Rearm-Repair won't affect units/houses in thier fighting ablilities and strategic choices.

It really needs to return for CW.

It would have to be a very different R&R than what we had previously.

It would have to
-Not punish new players or solo droppers
-Not give undue advantages to teams or premium time players
-Not exploitable by AFK farming or the like

The basic principle of MWO is buy and play whatever mech you like. The more you deviate from that the more frustrating the game will become, especially for new players who don't have large stables of mechs to choose from.

The Pauper Alliance exists for people such as this. Our ace pilots offer this power leveling service for free to all prospective new members. We won't rest until you are kitted out should you choose to become one of us.
