And if that wasn't enough, just wait until you see his 3-second Jenner wingman.

I thought for toast they held up giant walls of bread to a Firestarter and used the flamers and then cut it into small pieces?

You're telling me we could toast our bread in a small metal box that could easily fit on a counter?!

I just put the bread in the fins of my heat sinks, just make sure you don't fire off to many ppcs in a row or it'll burn.

Being a machine operator I have actually cooked lots of things on engines over the years. Nothing like sausages hot off an exhaust manifold!

3-second Jenner came from the devs saying that 2.0 DHS would make a Jenner able to core an Atlas from behind in 3 seconds, at least if my memory serves.

In ATD #35, the devs said that they don't want to buff MGs because of the "devastating effect" a 6-MG Spider might have on the back of an Atlas:

CCQ 3: Why is Machine Gun damage so low?
A: Partly due to the nature of how MGs work in the TT rules, partially due to how we chose to make it useful. When equipping a MG, keep in mind that it is not meant to burn through armor but is very useful for tearing up internals (crits). Bumping MG damage will turn it into a laser that can be kept on with no heat penalty until it runs out of ammo. Now imagine the devastating effect that a 6 MG spider could do to the back of an Atlas! We are still investigating balance of the MG but don’t expect any significant increase in damage.

The 3-second Jenner was used as a reason why they set double heat sinks to 1.4 instead of 2.0, since a Jenner with all 2.0 heat sinks could apparently core an Atlas in 3 seconds.

The 6 MG line is from this week's Ask the Devs - Answers! to explain why they don't want to buff the MG. Because a 6 MG Spider would do devastating things to the back of an Atlas, apparently.

It's just dev stupidity, and we like to rub their noses in it.

The 4-second Jenner (not 3-second)

Really?

Mind = blown. 3-second Jenner rolls off the tongue better anyways. :)

...And it emphasizes the DEVASTATING EFFECT.

Nah, you're right, I'm wrong. 3-second it is (and that's the second time I misremember. Dammit, I'm getting old...)

They can't implement spellcheck because of the devastating effect it would have on the rear armor of typos.

Don't give him any ideas. It's a miracle all this thread's posts are intact given how effective mods are at crit seeking.
