I don't know, this is Conquest. Anything could have caused those numbers.

Also, a LRM 2X without TAG to fill that fourth energy slot? Brave... but I would say foolish.

It seems like it just got turned back on? a couple days ago I played lots of matches and the majority were 8-1 landslides. Tonight the last 5 matches have been 6-8 or close. Something has changed, and I like it.

Now if only they could reduce the bugs a little.

Same with tourlaine and we stoped them at 749 and killed the rest!

That is pretty close.

Close is also when your in a legged Atlas with no arms and 2 medium lasers eft against a legged Dragon with 2 medium lasers left trying to kill eachother. Took like 2 minutes to win lol

It is actually possible for the game to end at 751-750. In the first few weeks of Conquest's release, I was in a game where both teams ticked to 750 in the same second, and it just goes to a (very) brief overtime. Don't think I have a screenshot, but will check the archives.

My closest has been a game that finished with the enemy team having 749 points, and us having 350-something. We won by killing their last light mech, a Cicada 3M, in the final second of the game. Was awesome.

I'm still seeing a lot of absolute landslides. Particularly when I'm playing with a single other TB member and being half serious about it....

....out of maybe a dozen matches, me and my buddy accounted for at least half the kills for our team, 7 in our best match tonight....

...even on the few rounds he thought a flamer/MG jagger would be fun for kicks we were accounting for half the caps and kills....

EDIT: That said. How about being the last mech standing with 5 of the enemy alive and still killing them all....god I wish I had that match on fraps.

I was in such a match yesterday. What was funny though is that the game awarded the win to the team with 750 even though the other clearly had 751. I think maths must have been nerfed recently :D

I tend to find most of the time ECM is equipped to light mechs(which I can never hold a TAG too). I don't need an anti one-type-of-Atlas support laser.

It decreases lock-on time and increases the effectiveness of missile tracking too! Also, even if that 3L's the one with the ECM you will still need TAG to fire your missiles at the enemy Stalker that's within the bubble. Given all those advantages I find it hard to go without a TAG if I'm carrying LRMs, especially if I have an unfilled energy hardpoint.

Mmm, the lock on time was never long enough to bother me. A tool to speed up something nearly negotiable is not a priority.

I think over a battle I get more damage out of the extra ton of ammo than from my attempts with the TAG.

Admittedly, my machine is slow so direct fire weapons and tools are less useful with my fps :/

Also my play style is usually to aim over hills at another mech's target in a support fire role. If I can't use my 15, I will melee with 3 ML against that stalker in the back and use my speed to get there.

Admittedly there's nothing TAG can do for that. Well, whatever works, but whenever I took out my 2X with LRMs (not since the missile hotfix) it was always with TAG.
