My drivers are up to date and I tried messing with the graphics settings. None of this seemed to help. I ran a reinstall on MWO and that stopped everything for a bit but it eventually lapsed back into it. This is the only video game I seem to be having issues with.
I then started writing down what was going on on the screen when a crash or yellow screen happened. They all had one thing in common. I was running my TBT 5N armed with LRMs. When firing at an enemy mech and the enemy mech powered down while missiles had been about to impact, my game crashed right as the missiles hit the powered down mech. I noticed the yellow screen happened when LRMs impacted on a mech, but only when the enemy mech was in LOS and I could see the explosions.

Here we have one of the situations in my TBT 5N. The screen turns slightly yellow, parts of it are zoomed in, and the screen has a frozen layover. I lost enemy and friendly IFF. The targeting cursor you see is currently locking on an enemy mech that the IFF does not show but I was still able to target. The flight of LRMs you see over the targeting cursor is actually a frozen frame from missiles that had been in flight when the yellow screen happened about 15sec before this screenshot was taken.
I then hopped in the trial Awsome as I was frustrated with the bug. When I took some LRM fire I had this issue....

The proximity of the explosion seems to worsen the effect. This persists through the rest of the match. I tried changing vision modes to see if it would fix the issue. Night vision had no effect, Flir/Thermal vision cleared up the screen a bit but I lost all of my HUD as long as it was up. Turning Flir/Thermal off made it go right back to what you see in the screenshot.
I am not sure what the issue is, but I would like it to get it fixed. If it is something on my end I would take steps to fix it. If it is on PGI's end I hope this helps you guys find the problem.
