I'm pretty sure the Clans don't accept c-bills.

Well, just like in TT, I will probably prefer IS mechs and tech to clan stuff. But we shall see. I have a very strange feeling that players jumping into clan mechs for the first time will be VERY disappointed by their initial performance.

Naw, but I will trick out my jenners with clan tech if I can. honestly, the IS has grown on me quite a bit; there was a time when I would be scrimping for it, I just don't feel it anymore.

The Jenner gods demand loyalty.

Just hope they release a Jenner IIC! ;]

Mad Cat, pfft... Freebirth ;)

mad cat? no thanks. All I want is for PGI to skip the clock forward 11 years so I can finally get my Thanatos back.... ;)

Only way I'll drive a Mad Cat is if PGI invites me to be a Clan driver on an alternate account and hands me one as my ride.

I'd rather use a Daishi or some kind of medium (go big, go fast, or go home).

And yes, to all you clanner fanboys out there, I know what the "real" names are, I just deliberately choose not to use them. Plus, I'm gonna do contractions and lazy speech constructions all I can, you vat-born posers. Bwahahahaha!

What the **** is a Madcat? Dirty IS scum.

I think you meant to ask if I'm saving up for a Dire Wolf. The answer would be no, because I've got until December, and I need the 4 missile Blackjack.

Holy ****. There's a 4 missile blackjack? No freaking way PGI gives us that with all of its hard points in tact. ;)

As much as that is my favorite clan mech. Not going to happen. It would break the game over its knee.

What knees? I don't see any knees on that thing!

But I would spend money on a Nova and a Black Lanner! Oh the joys of a 12 ER Medium Laser salvo into an assault mech's rear torso armor, I'd light up more than a 6 PPC Stalker but it would be worth it!

I dunno about that. Both Fire Moth and Dire Wolf sound better than Dasher (lol) and Daishi (wtf is Daishi anyway?).

Dashi: Honorific given by the Emperor.

Lit. "Silent Master"

As far as I'm concerned it means something so impressive, so powerful that it don't even need to make noise. Everyone just knows it's the most powerful thing on the battlefield.

In general I'd agree with you. Mad Dog sounds hilariously dumb compared to Vulture, but its not always a given.

I just use the IS names cause I can't be bothered learning 2 names for every mech. That and it's fun annoying the people desperate to rp clanners.

Why would I buy a dirty clan mech? I may force myself to use clan weapons, but I refuse to run a clan mech.

Daishi means great death or at least that's what I've been told.

You can see the knees better here. I also love the black lanner. But it also would likely break the game. A 55 ton mech running at 150?

I am in fact saving my C-bills.

it is the only way to stay among the Space rich and avoid being space poor.
I will buy anything with chicken legs, assuming it will not make me space poor.

So i suppose technically yes I am saving up for a mad wolf or timber cat or whatever big stompy chicken legged mech.

If they follow the current pattern on mech releases, the Kit Fox will be the first clan mech released.
