For some reason, since the last patch, I am unable to send any messages with chat while I am alive. I can send messages before the match starts (up to the point where my mechwarrior starts up his mech) and I can send messages after my mech is destroyed. But not while the game is on.

I also am now getting a flickering Score readout when I hit tab.

I never had any problems prior to the patch.

Same thing here. Was wondering if anyone else was having these two problems as well.

I cannot hit enter to send the message even though I can type it. I can only send messages from the chatbox interface.

Chat was not fixed in this patch patch for some reason. Tab and Battlegrid have now stopped working completely for me.

I have the same issue. Chat messages aren't sent when hitting enter (I have also mapped numlock enter to send chat, it also doesn't work), and holding tab displays the scoreboard, but it flickers.

I had this, seemed to be because I changed my default profile. Look in this thread:

to find the solution, basically, you have to update your profile with the new changes. I had to do this because I originally set my tag to weapons group 6 and configed it so it would never go off.

One of the links in that thread will take you to a page where they post a new config you can use if you don't want to extract the main one or do a full reinstall!

I just went ahead and re-installed the game. Worked.
