Each mech you own gets a 50% bonus to Posted Image and XP for the 1st match of each day.

- Don't have much time for MWO today, but I will at least log on and do my dailies. It would probably also help add to seeing different mech varients in the game.

Neat idea. This would give me a reason for having 37 mechs.....fully loaded out with engines weapons upgrades....Instead of playing 1 mech all night. I would play all of them every night at-least once.

Kind of reminds me of "daily's." But that's ok. I would enjoy this, if it was a feature.

It would look like this right? Bold = 1st game played, reg = 2nd game played. All games finished within 2 hours of eachother.


CN9-A game 1 = +50% cbills/exp
CN9-A game 2 = normal cbills/exp
AS7-D game 3 = +50% cbills/exp
AS7-RS game 4 = +50% cbills/exp
AS7-D game 5 = normal cbills/exp
AS7-RS game 6 = normal cbills/exp
AS7-DDC game 7 = +50% cbills/exp
CN9-D game 8 = +50% cbills/exp
AS7-DDC game 9 = normal cbills/exp
CN9-D game 10 = normal cbills/exp

Yeah, I'd go with first win of the day, and maybe even throw another condition in, like "must exceed 250 damage" or something like that, so that people can't abuse it completely and just do nothing in the match.

First win (to maximize return) for the four in your ready list each day. Anything more will be abused.

A match is less than 15 minutes... so it'll be quick and painless for most people... outside of intentionally tanking.

While I like this idea, I have two questions:
does it stack with premium time?
does the bonus still apply even if the mech is a founder's or hero mech? If yes, is the bonus additive, or multiplicative? (does it stack with the other CB bonus, or is it just calculated off of the base amount before the bonus?)

1st match of the day? more like first 15 matches of the day. I love this idea and don't see how it would effect the game that much/. SDGO has this type of setup, first 15 games a day get a bonus to xp and credit.

Yes, I think all bonuses need to be additive. People have paid for them, they deserve to get them.

Example:
Let's say first match win of the day gives a 50% bonus to c-bills and XP. A pilot takes a hero mech (+30% c-bills and has Premium Time +50% c-bills + 50% XP). Their total bonus for the first win would be 130% c-bills and +100% XP.

It's important for the bonsues to inflate each other, as in the +50% from PT doesn't make the daily win bonus 75%.

If you need players to behave differently for group optimization reasons, incentives are the best method. For example: if the devs really want a minimum amount of traffic per day, offering a daily bonus is the way to do so. It might not have been what players wanted to do, but they're being "paid" to do it - so many will decide the investment is worth it.

It's like working at McDonalds. Almost nobody wants to do it, but for some it means having money - for others the amount of money offered is too trivial. Incentives allow the players to decide - in harsh contrast to punishments which do not really let the players decide, but instead force the players into lose-lose scenarios. Game developers need to be careful on how they structure these things.

One match per day, with ANY ONE mech, not every single mech. Maybe.
