Is it just me, or do streaks always seem to home in on the CT? It's been five or six matches where I've been cored out by streaks because they don't appear to hit any other location.

Standard SRM don't spread as much as tabletop either, no one really complains.

Streaks probably need a bit more "random hit chance" than they have now. That's in quotes because I mean NON RANDOM FORCED HIT LOCATIONS, which would APPEAR random to human brains.

In other words, they need to be forced to hit limbs more than they're doing right now.

Yes. this is exactly what they do. They also have splash damage still.

ALL missiles are in a hotfixed nerfed state right now. This is temporary until they can figure out how to get missiles to not bug out all the time, and they come up with a system to make them not all always guide straight to the CT.

I am seeing them hit the whole mech. The animation shows each missile going to a different section. Perhaps a portion of the damage of each missile goes to the CT by spreading. Missiles do seem to make critical hits with other weapons more likely however.

It's not like it was ever incredibly useful.

Before it stopped working, I could search for streaks, and get three posts about streaking at a minor league baseball game in Florida in the Off Topic forum from August 2011 before finding this thread.
