It's a fairly slow process to call map coordinates to your squadmates when you spot the enemy. You've got to figure out the grid coordinate (on a very small mini-map...sometimes it's just guess work), and then you have to pause to text to the squad mates not on chat.
It would be a HUGE help and would encourage team play if we had a better option:
option 1: the coordinates targeted showed not only the distance, as it does now, but the map grid coordinate
or
option 2: a button that would show it if you hold the button down.
or better yet.....
option 3: a button to hit that would automatically put a squad text up "Spotted at C4" etc.
or best of all...
option 4: Instead of relying on coordinates, similar to line of sight calling in your artillery, hit a button to throw a HUD and map marker (instead of smoke). I think it was the console GRAW game that did that. Look at the ground you want to mark, hit the button and your team gets a HUD marker on that spot and it shows up on the map/mini-map.
Otherwise, regarding missile doors, I know there is a very small...VERY SMALL...green or yellow-green light that indicates missile doors open or closed and a very quiet "ding" when you hit the button. The color difference is hard to see on most maps even during the day, but impossible on a night map without shutting down your night/thermal vision. And if zoomed in, you don't see the light at all.
How about just a little indicator on the HUD? A simple O or C for open/closed...whatever. Nothing elaborate, just let us know if we've got our fly open or closed at the wrong time.
Thanks!
