We should be able to control how opaque or see-through our targetting reticles are. Especially with the removal of long range thermal optics, it is more important than ever to be able to pick out fine details. Far too often, something that I can see with the reticle pointed elsewhere is completely washed out once I put it on target.

I'd really like the ability to dial that down in real time. Tanks have this ability for the reasons I mentioned.

I made a similar suggestion before, and I have some other ideas for reticule functions that I will detail later.

well differennt puippers would do just as well four narrow triangles tapering to very narrow points with no center comes to mind.
mouse wheel scroll to adjust the gap on the fly

there is some sort of hud control in the works (For those of us blind to color) but I have no clue as to what it entails.

Though I heve to tell you that I suspect that the clumsy reticle is intentional to counter the broken LG accuracy of ballistics.
