I'm all for getting a chuckle out of the funnier parts of Battletech history, from the awesome 80s hair to the "What the hell were we thinking" Tetate. It's a great wink to the fans and I think people other than goons might pick them up for a joke as well.

I just want to point out that this thread is the second google hit for "tetatae", after the battletech wiki entry. Pretty sure this says something.

I think you'll find that this is an issue that unites Capellans, Lyrans, Kuritans, Davions, and Leaguers of all stripes. When it comes to wanting bird bobbleheads, on this point alone, you can see a glimmer of the unity of the Star League.
