I am so excited about the prospect of the Zeus. Hope it turns out well.

Would be stoked for a Leonidas hero mech, and super-stoked for a Zeus-X Stacy hero mech.

I like new content, but I hope more bugs are fixes before that comes out. Besides, it would be nice if a good medium, or heavy comes out first - we just got a new assault and a new assault hero mech,

I don't get all the hype about the Zeus. Looks under gunned for an 80 tonner. My Cataphract has more dakka.

Do not be dissing the Zeus. It is the Steiner's true light 'mech. It is also fast for an assault, and heavily armored and protected.

Would buy a Zeus the second they release it. No doubt. I spent years rocking table top BT with my trusty Zeus. Speed, armor, range. BOOM-YEA! Even had my Zeus miniature rocking a sweet black and gold-trim paint job. Honestly, if they can make the Stalker look respectable as a mech here I would LOVE to see what they can do with a mech that actually looked sexy in the table top version.

I know, I know. It's just a new flash fluff piece. They have a line of mechs ready to come out and the Clan crap coming in the fall for the kiddies (yea... can't let it go; even all these years later ). We will probably never see the Zeus. But a boy flipping through the 3050 Technical Readout he bought at the comic and gaming store cause it had robots can dream!

You can always do what I did in the mean time.

Snag an AWS-8V
- Add double heat sinks
- Excange small laser for medium laser
- Drop in a 300 std engine
- Poof, only slightly slower Zeus

Yea. And I have. But you can't build the UAC/5 version at all. Well, you can now with the Highlander. But not with the speed!!!

Re-enacting with better MW:LL stye, canon-style, fast-fire Autocannons, just like that video.

Also @ Boysdan, the Dropship Pilot is the one that took off. The Commando had no say in the matter. If I were a Dropship Pilot, that's exactly what I would do, that's just how I [t]roll.

My Highlander version of the Zeus. Dropped the ER Large Laser for a 3rd Medium and more DHS. Largely because I don't think that managing the ER, LRM, and Ultra is worth the extra heat. I have no idea how this puppy would actually play out though; especially the LRMs.
