CPLT-C4 - ***** (lots of red and black, and back in the days of OP missiles)
CPLT-K2 - *****'s Little Helper
AS7-D-DC - God
CTF-IM - The Gambler (double-firing 3 UAC5s all at once almost always leaves someone dead; it's usually me if they all jam at once...)
Edit: LOL -- it's censoring my Catapult names. OK, so the name LOOKS a lot like "Santa", but I assure you that the name is MUCH hotter than that...

Naturally I spend a lot of time naming things in general. A name has power, it is the summary of all the characteristics of the object that bears it's name. Some are humorous, others carry deep meaning. You may notice that some of my mechs are also named after chess pieces. Naturally, I hope and expect to never name a mech Queen. But it's likely the battletech equivalent of a Queen is the Dire Wolf. All of my mechs have a meaningful name. And each mech along with it's name bears a story. If anyone is interested, I'm willing to tell them. just point to one specific in my post...
