Yes heavily referring to that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. reference/bug
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of it.

CPLT-C4 "Drac Seeker" (ALRMs, Streaks, TAG, BAP, Adv. Sensor Range, 360 Target, Adv. Target Decay - it'll find you!)
CPLT-A1 "Drac Stinger" (LRM5s and Streaks)
CPLT-K2 "Drac Striker"
CPLT-C1(F) "Drac Slayer" (informally)
DRG-1N "Drac Eater"
STK-5S "Drac Vaper" (short for Vaporizer...used to be all PPCs before that build was cool)
STK-3M "Drac Smasher" (SRM-heavy build)
HGN-733C "Drac Stomper"

I want:
JagerMech: "Drac Venter" ("Ventilator" if they expand the character limit)
"Drac Violator"
"Drac Ripper"
"Drac Eviscerator"

Kill the Snakes! :P

My Atlas when it popped up in MW2, MW3(pirates moon) MW4 and MWO (closed beta) all shared the same name: Grimlock.

My later dragons took the name Ryuji but i'll tell you a fun little story about my BT dragon: About the time I was piddling around with a dragon in BT scoresheets I also got into playing Xenogears on playstation. (*Points at sig*) But Fei's gear was nammed "Welltall" which sounded pretty silly to me so I renamed it Dragon in honor of battletech, near the end of the game your machine gets renamed Xenogears but you are given the opportunity to change that as well - I opted to mix old with the new and XenoDragon was born. This would later become my first internet handle on webtv and was my initial name on The Zone during the MW3 lagshooting days on dialup, but later became SD_XenoPhalcon after joining a clan and earning one of their made up bloodnames.

I initially got a dragon in MWO after returning with a better laptop but got tired of my CT being such blatant liability so for now im running around in a Cicada iv not given any special name too until Orions hit the market. Name to be determined (I had one in MW3, but cant remember what I called it o.o)

I have a number of 'Mechs, which themselves have a number of names. Only one set worth relating, though.

Three Trebuchets:
-TBT-7M "Arming Crank"
-TBT-5J "Rstrng (Restraining) Bolt"
-TBT-3C "ReleaseLever"

I...I couldn't help myself...

CPLT-K2: Kitty (clever, I know)
CDA-3M: Pepsi (cause he uses PPCs)
CDA-X5: Nudey (cause he's a streaker)
TBT-7M: Tribble (it just sounds similar, leave me alone!)
HBK-4SP: Igor (pronounced EYE-gore)
JM6-S: Klaus (generic Germanic name)
SDR-5D: Itsy Bitsy (again, I'm not very clever)

Cataphracts - Panzer (German word for armour)
Centurions - Lanze (German word for Lance)
Cicadas - Schakal (German word for Jackal)
Catapults - Wolf (Wolf is spelled the same way and means the same in both English and German)
Dragons - Ranger (Ranger is spelled the same way and means the same in both English and German)

The rest of my Mech' I have sold or thrown far far away...
Also instead of naming each new Mech the same as the previous - like if I buy a new model of one of the above - then I add ¨MK 2*¨
Furthermore hero mechs are to me prototypes, and are as such named the initial name I gave the frame but with ¨-PT¨ added. A good example would be my Dragon Flame which is a modded 1C and as such is called ¨RNGR-PT MK2¨ (I had to shorten Ranger since there is a limit to how many letters you can use in a Mech' name.)

*The number is decided by the time the model was first released.
So for example a Dragon 1N would be the ¨Ranger MK1¨
Whereas the Dragon 1C would be the ¨Ranger MK2¨
This is because the 1N was according to lore produced before the 1C.

(also I am not really German, but I have always loved the language and as such I honour my mechs by naming them in German.)

Mine illustrate that I don't take myself too seriously,

Jenner -FC Smudge
Hero X-5 Smoking Crat
Jenner -K Core Bait
Jenner -D Tin Coffin

The X-5 was supposed to be "Smoking Crater", but the character limit clipped it off. When I saw it, I laughed out loud and decided to keep it as Smoking Crat (crat is a slang name for "cat").
