I was not able to r- select enemies within sensor range. They didn´t even have the red/blue triangles above them.
No ECM was protecting them whatsoever (e.g. a single Cat in the plains of turmaline desert at 500m)
Happened to me in a number of games. Hard to play like this because you don´t know if you are fighting an enemy or teammate, cant see damage ...

Same issue. I can't see which is my team mates or the opposition. I also can't identify my team through the "q" button. or target them through "r"

Had this happen to me also. At least my map was working so I could see some of my allies position.

Yep, got this stuff yesterday for the first time. Had to check every mech by minimap to make out friend or foe.
Very uncomfortable, but still possible to fight and kill, which I did.
I would propose to use this as an effect for a pretty rare occasion of a cockpit crit on targeting system.

Hi Flitzomat,

this is a rare issue that devs are already looking into.

Thanks for confirming that the issue is still happening!

AnaArt,

It's not that rare ... and it's been around for a while ... been in many matches where it's happened to teammates ... Had it myself last night on the new map but for me it was also coupled with the loss of my minimap ... so basically, I was pretty much totally ineffective that particular match.

Had the same thing happens, target designator (friend and foe alike) does not appear above the mechs head nor does the targeting box come up when the enemy mech is selected. though target info and mini map still works.

I have been noticing this recently as well. It seems to happen more on the "large" maps (Alpine and Tourmaline) and it seems to be a function of my zoom level. Specifically, cycling through the zoom level, I can usually (not always) find a level where the IFF markers are there, but they are certainly not there at all zoom levels.

I'm also having this problem. From conversations in-game, it is not a rare bug.

What you are describing seems to be a separate bug. Sometimes I can see IFF and targeting boxes in all but closest zoom, but more often I cannot see any IFF or targeting boxes on any zoom level, for friends or foes, and "q" does nothing,
