Yea, odd title. What do I mean by this.

Essentially add a convergence timer to weapons depending on weapon group size that the targeting computer has to compensate for.

[[Tonnage X Criticals] X Number Of Weapons In Group ] /100 = Convergence Speed in seconds

Example:
6 Medium Lasers = 6 Tonnage & 6 Criticals+ 24 Heat X 6 = 72 / 100 = 2,16 Seconds
2 AC/20 = 28 Tonnage & 20 Criticals X 2 = 96 / 100 = 0,96 Seconds
6 AC/2 = 24 Tonnage & 6 Criticals X 6 = 180 / 100 = 1,8 Seconds
6 Small Lasers = 3 Tonnage & 6 Criticals +heat 12 X 6 = 54 / 100 = 1,26 Seconds

When convergence is reached add a colour change or flash to the sights.

This would mean that it takes longer for extreme boating to hit with everything as the convergence would give a "bullet" spread over the target.

EDIT:

I'm thinking of adding HEAT as well to the multiplier since all energy weapons becomes a LOT faster than ballistics.

EDIT: Heat added, might be too high for energy weapons with heat.

really they just need to stop mass weapon convergence it's jusy not logical for widely spread weapons each arm sould be able to cluster it's weapons but not both together. and torso mounts are fixed

Just scrap target range based convergence all together and have weaps converge at their max range. Boated weapons use for alphas now have either a bad spread outside of a narrow range band.
