Forest Colony Is Too Dark.

Forest Colony is supposed to be a daytime map, but on my monitor (LG Flatron W2353V, LED) it's too dark. Mostly just a dark green smear. I know other players do not experience this, just the few of us who don't want to adjust their monitors for a game level. I have asked for the Brightness and Contrast to be enabled in MWO Options, but still inoperable. I found a workaround by editing the attributes manually, but now that is disabled too.

I don't know what I am supposed to do. If I quit the match when I see Forest Colony is launching will I be replaced by someone? It's a waste of time for me to play Forest Colony as is. Mechs can be 100 meters away and I can't see them unless they get silloetted. I was just in a game where two Atlas's were 100 meters away in plain sight and I could just barely see their heads.

On another note. The original Forest Colony from the closed beta was your most realistic outdoor map. Distances looked realistic and mechs at a distance looked big. Like 20-30 meter tall robots. I have no idea why you changed it to the green smear it is now. Maybe you could add the original Forest Colony back into the rotation. Call one Summer Forest Colony and the other Rainy Forest Colony, and brighten it up a bit.

Tried other vision modes? It is rare but I have seen people who use Thermal on FC and I once saw someone use Night on Caustic.

Got any pics of the original FC?

Well, now I am just jealous.

I wonder if it has to do with global lighting, not sure how the CryEngine does things but if it uses global lighting, they could just up the brightness.

I didn't like FC in CB. Too bright, didn't look dreary enough. If anything, it needs more fog. More fog is never a bad idea on costal maps.
