I see that the Cyan palette is on sale. I like sales. And nothing says "Assault" like a nice aqua color. :D

Why did they choose the Cyan colors to go on sale with Assault mechs?

My hunch is they put less popular stuff on sale. The Atlas-K and Stalker 3H are kinda meh variants, not sure about the awesome.

Last time a colour went on sale they did green and limes.

http://www.sarna.net.../Lyran_Alliance

Lyran 'Scout' Lances were well known for being composed entirely of assault mechs. Lyran colors are blue- so it does make a certain canonical sense.

Doesnt the FRR group use cyan as a color in their pallet? Perhaps over the next few weeks each major house's primary color will be on sale at one point or another.

I don't really like Methane, it's kind of just a bland greenish color, now Grue I'm totally on board with and will be my first pick up when patch goes live.

Please note: I am glad they are putting colors on sale, I was just having some fun with the thought of aquamarine hues on a 100 ton engine of death :D

And I think an above poster is correct, they do sales for the colors that are selling poorly. And I will take advantage of it, I am sure I can spare 1500mc or so for a few new colors.

Just think of the money they'd generate if they put a 'real' houses color pallet on sale.

That is a good idea. Specific shades of each color for each house. Might be something for the first phase of CW.

If they're allowing us to join specific house units when CW is in full swing, perhaps they plan to do this... with a special pattern for them as well.

Im counting on the washed out Methane offsetting the deep richness of Grue, I will probably Phrankin it with Sulfur or Mantis as the gore spray.

Im still waiting for Perl/Chrome/Chromatic Shifting and Fluorescing paints eagerly, my bank account is a bit more fearful.

It's cyan pallets, for transporting the mech parts obviously. Why they have to be cyan, I don't know.

At a guess, house specific colors and unit specific camouflage are very, very likely to be Community Warfare rewards. You wouldn't want Kuritans driving Death Commando mechs, after all. Plus they wouldn't impact the game at all, and would declare your status to the world.

Is it just the Cyans or all blues? I prefer the color Zircon. It's a pretty decent teal in game.

Just Cyan, but there is actually a decent amount of overlap with the other blues and greens.

I would roll in an Atlas-K if I had Laser AMS. It would still suck, but I would totally be profilin.

Because marketing.

How do you get people to spend money on colours they're rather indifferent about, to paint robots in a computer game? Big sale with flashy signs and lots of colour.
