In January it might make sense to add the Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle.
Dead-shot missiles should also qualify as experimental tech from this period (unguided LRMs with twice the warhead, more dispersion and automatic criting if the launcher is hit).

Thanks, I'll take a look at that.

Another interesting element is the existence of multiple manufacturers for each weapon:
UAC5 (3 models)
AC2 (4 models)
AC5 (6 models)
LBX10 (6 models)
AC10 (9 models)
AC20 (10 model)
Gauss (10 models)
Machine gun (17 models)
The weapons are technically a class of weapon - with many different but similar weapons comprising each class.
It would probably mess up your charts - but it does allow for further expansion of 3050 technology (e.g. multiple similar types of machine guns) with the devs wanted.

What I'm really interested is in the new IS tech that will be added... what's next on the list?
Also, I'm fairly certain that the naming of the VOIP client is coincidental and not meant to represent the C3 system from BT, which may or may not ever make it into our game (though being able to aim through somebody else's view could be seriously awesome for some snipers.)

This is something that I would love to see. It would definitely expand the variety of builds that we see.

Excellent thread. So many mechs that I wish we were getting.
