I would be surprised if the number of posts or time spent on this forum reflects who should get into beta.

That would encourage players to generate pointless posts every day for weeks, hoping they have more posts than others. The forum is not a game, it is a service and community. Not only that. People with full time jobs, myself being a developer, I don't have time to get on forums until closer to beta. It does not mean I can't test the game well or does it mean I'm not one of the loyal fans who will put a lot of money into the game.

So nope, when people signed up should have no reflection on the decision of who gets beta key in my opinion.

This is what I do not want to see a lot of in MechWarrior Online.

BETA is required and access giving gradually so it can be monitored, it is part of the development process, I'm currently giving out my owner software to one user per day for free. Only those who have been positive and patient get an email from me with free beta. So maybe the devs in games work the same sometimes, seek true fans?!

ZPRED and anyone else with a similar attitude. Consider our point of view, with that attitude I would hate to see you getting a key it would be very unfair on people who will shine light into the games community.

The game looks great and it's only exceeded by my urge to enter the beta to be in awe at it.

Im pretty sure mine is stuck on pending. When the game goes live it will somehow prevent me from playing then too..... with the words "PENDING " across my screen or something im sure.lol.

It's strange, feels like they haven't released keys in a week, at least they are not posting it
