It`s there, but it`s like, 1 or something....

My (so dfar) only TK was actually a collision... I walked over the edge of the bridge on RC and all of a sudden I read in the chat and am like "WTF? I didn`t fire anything 0.o" ... then the guy answered "You need to watch where you step" or something to that extent... I died about 10 seconds later because I was still laughing so hard. :D

To my defense, a fly taking a dump on his shoulder would have cored him, he was already pretty beat up. :(

HAHA dude, that was me you stepped on. Awesome!

this reminds me of some match where last member of my team in stalker got legged and disarmed with red armor on leg and orange/red ct internals and his opponents were raven+2 stalkers

they killed him after few minutes by raming into him :(
happened after collision removal

Right now the collision damage code is piggy backing on the landing leg damage code. So when you ram a mech you should only see a little leg damage happen. (Collision Callback)

Sometimes "a little leg damage" is quite enough (this happened about 20 minutes ago):

I was destroyed by collision damage the other day with legs still intact. It definitely hit somewhere on my torso. (sorry no screenshot)

So what you are implying is that DFA kills are not currently possible, correct?

The reason why I ask is because I most DEFINITELY killed an enemy catapult with my Heavy Metal by JJing straight up while he walked under me, and then I landed right on top of him. After a few moments of me dancing on his head, I got kill credit. Any ideas how that would be possible with the current collision code?

Constant collision damage could be possible so you just chewed through his legs and got the kill.

What you see is not what you get when you dance on top of each other right now. The server and client can't agree on your position.

Hell he could have had ammo in his legs which then detonated on him.

Good point. Early in match, and I think it was a dual AC/20 mech, probably with XL. Thanks.

I killed a damaged Centurion using my Awesome's left arm chasing him around on Frozen City. I lose track of him and suddenly my left arm flashes and turns yellow and I get a kill indicator.
