I'm concerned now also. Since if the devs have created MWO as a reality to satisfy juxstapo's thinking and make it plausible for him I'm wondering if I can be extracted from the programme and placed into a different but similar construct with a similar seeded Tabula Rasa in the hope that I can reduce a number of bugs from the game.

Other than waiting for Garth (the architect?) to confirm things, could we try to find a more heuristic solution to identifying Agents' and now others existence as entities? Also it begs the question if Garth is now not also a constuct of juxstapo's mind also.

Things got very scary indeed: :D

Well considering all things. Reality simply is for the one experiencing it. All other things in that reality may or not be a construct of that reality. All of things other than the individual may or may not exist outside that reality. The individual may be a construct of another reality and may exist independent of of all realities including their own. It is possible for an individual to exist and not exist at the same time. Thus we are all entities and not entities at once.

I am pretty sure I just spouted a bunch of nonsense that I may or may not be able to wrap my head around later.

like I said

Cogito Ergo Sum therefore it follows Cogit Ergo Non Es

If I'm the only one I can be sure of everyone else is clearly a figment unless they can also be proved to me that they think however if I don't exist, I don't think and therefore everyone else exists.

Garth come save us from this existential crisis!

I would have to say that even a statement from a dev or mod such as it were would not prove your case, or even for that matter make it more confusing. As this entire line of questioning exists solely within the forums anything that exists within these forums could merely be a by product of your own choice of self assertion (i.e. you could be "garth" calling yourself real). The only way to expand this question would be in the form of an outside source, which without verifiable physical again only exists in an area comprised mainly of charged electrons and therefore not subject to the whims of the actual reality in which we may or may not exist in.

Look on the bright side

Dal is well on the way to disproving

his/her own existence by extension.

Hurray for irony

and the law of
unintended consequences.

Also, AoC Ergo Sum therefore it follows AoC Ergo Non Es.

This is the problem, indeed the fundamental issue

I need the waveform to collapse by the interjection of affirmation or denial from an outside party, though that will lead to a meta discussion about whether the interjector was in fact an external force which will lead... inevitably, as all things do, to the recrimination meta-phase.

Okay, well, what about if

I think, therefore AoC exists, therefore it follows AoC thinks, therefore I exist?

Not sure how that would look in Latin, so I'm not going to try.

which would be all kinds of ****** up.

I'm currently exploring one potential solution to this predicament.

Currently Milk cartons all over the world are being disseminated with an Agent of Change lost entity message.

Hopefully if anyone finds it or evidence pertaining to it's existence they will follow the instructions and post here accordingly.

I'd settle for a vaguely firm confirmation that reality is more than shadows on the wall of a cave.

But if we are both figments of each others minds and we lose our minds what happens then?
