I just wanted to say thanks, the last 2 days have been alot more fun for me. My matches have for the most part been more competitive. So thanks for tweaking the Match Maker. You can only club baby seals for so long before it becomes boring...

Hmmm. More competitive or easier?

Well easier would be killing the other guys 8>0, more competitive is when you have 1 left on each team and both are ****** up badly, and the next shot will decide the outcome.
Had that other night in acid valley my cataphract verses a stalker we were both over heating bad and shutting down each time we fired, was tense and if i hadnt got quick ignition i'd have been toast.

I agree with the OP, since the patch on Tuesday my matches as a whole have been siignificantly more balanced, I think a 6:3 cap loss was the most lopsided I`ve seen so far.
Will be interesting to see if todays weight matching makes it even better or borks it all the way to Sweden.

What does more competive mean to you?
A win or loss with almost equal survivors who have wrecked armour, limbs missing, and ammo expended. A mix of tactics, sniper, pop tart, flanking and assault with a touch of base capping. Also my heart rate up, shaking hands and a slight sweat on. Game lately have been close in numbers but I've remained relatively unscathed. I'm an average player at best, maybe my rank group is weak and this is affecting my experience. I want a sense of fear to creep over me as forces come together. Like the fear you get playing paintball, it hurts to get shot, that's scary and that's why it's fun. Still an MWO addict though.

That exactly what OP wanted to say.

Has it not occured to you the "balance" you describe may be a result of the simple fact that "everyone" is dropping in the same mechs (highlander)
