Well, so far, I have seen 5 drops where one team has several lights, and the other team has none. And of course, most of the lights are ECM variants, and the team with no lights? You guessed it, no ECM either....

EPIC FAIL AGAIN DEVS!!!

PS: Minimap bug, HUD Bug not fixed either.

Weight matching isn't in until Thursday...

Deactivate your rage generators.

Here's the plan:
On Tuesday, April 16th, we'll patch as normal and will put in the adjusted Elo values.
On Thursday, April 18th (tentative date), we'll drop the weight matching tolerance to zero. This won't require a patch or an interruption of service.

But seems even more off base than before patch....

And the game is still as buggy as a bait store....

So 5 hours after a patch and the world is ending? That would almost be a record if ECM hadn't come first....

LET ALONE IT HASN'T BEEN IMPLEMENTED YET!

What happens to a team, team A, which has 8 players who picks 8 lights... and clicks "Launch" and NO OTHER team has 8 lights?


There are two basic choices:
1. Team A has to wait (maybe days) until someone plays 8 lights.

2. After a period of time, the match making system decides that no other 8 players will pick all lights and throws team A into the random pickings.


What other options could there be?

Besides, correct me if i am wrong - but they just changed the way ELO works... and not the match making system. Likewise, the match making system gets placed in on Thursday (this Thursday) ?


I was thinking about the above scenario:

Team A = 8 light players.

Team B = 4 lights, 3 mediums, and 1 heavy players.

Team C = 4 lights, 3 mediums, and 1 heavy players.


Team A launches first and the game does not find anyone.

Team B and C launches next - a good 15 to 30 seconds (maybe a minute after team A).

How should the game react?

No other teams or groups of 8 has 8 light players or the 4 lights, 3 mediums, and 1 heavy player ratio.



Does Team A get to fight Team B or C or a random team? Does Team A fail to find a fight? Does Team A get thrown in a random fight?

Likewise, Team B and C should match up - but should the game try to match them to A first ... and then what happens to the other team that does not get matched up?

Read the patch notes.

The bug fixes were not complete in time to make this patch; this is a content patch for the most part, not a fix patch.

The only epic fail here is in the OP's reading comprehension.

In short, the feature he rages against won't be activated until Thursday.
