Seriously now? Is it that they're trying to tell people to not bother playing?

No minimap bug.
No HUD bug.
'wwwwww' on weapons and display bug.
Textures flicker on and off surfaces bug.

All at once the moment I log in after patching.

Just... fail.

How could you have had all of those HUD bugs, AND the no HUD bug? The latter kind of precludes the other HUD bugs.

What is stopping you? It takes 20 minutes if that.

I live in the US and all I can afford is DSL. My max download speed is 300kb and most of the time I have to share that with 2 netflix shows streaming

Oh they're offering gigabit Internet here as well, but it's expensive as all hell - about USD 150/month for 1000/100Mb. 100/100Mb though is dead cheap, like USD 25/month.

Who pays that bill? Depending on the answer you might not "have" to share that with 2 Netflix Shows. ;)

As the only adult in the house, I pay all the bills.

There was a bug I had where the HUD kept flickering on and off randomly during a match and then finally gave up and stayed off. Could be that one.

It was also coupled with the game client losing focus so I had to alt tab back into the game several times in the middle of combat. Wacky stuff.

Tell the non-adults to go outside and use their imagination like you had to at their age. ;) That would help some, but I feel your pain. I would NEVER go back to DSL. In fact I refused to move to a couple spots because I couldn't get decent internet.

I imagined the OP saying, "FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE" in slow motion to his dad and then later being told to eat soap and he admits it was not fudge he screamed in frustration.

Anyhoot, bugs is what causing me and a few of my friends to shy away from BugWarrior... er... MechWarrior Online. As long as most of the bugs get fixed I do not have a problem. However, when you drop and 3 out of 8 people have a devastating bug ... and the next drop 3 to 5 DIFFERENT people have devastating bugs... and the next drop 3 to 5 random people have devastating bugs.... it get does get frustrating.

Of course, we can play difference games and go out side more... which is why there are fewer of us on and fewer people in game too. Trust me, we try not to point fingers at PGI or MWO - cause if this goes away.... what BIG ROBOT GAME will we play? HAWKEN? HA there is a reason that HAwkens starts with "HA" - its full of LOLz.

I'm pretty sure you realize that both problems are game breaking issues and to wait 2 more weeks for paying customers is kind of insane to ask.

For me I even found a new issue, framerate drops on River City. No idea where that comes from.

All the existing bugs still seem to be there, sudden disconnects of teammates and the regular "Hud-bug" complaint in the chat are the proof.

@Matthew Craig
So PGI seems to be observing this thread, maybe a suggestion:

Would it be too much to ask for a sign of goodwill from PGI in the form of "Yeah, we know the bugs are pretty bad, but here are (insert random amount of free premium time or MC) to make up for that".

Really, people paid money for premium time and can't use it.

Currently no complaints here, it's been running smooth and looking prettier than ever.

Of course, now saying that, I'll probably drop with the 'no IFF' bug. lol

Some bugs cannot be fixed in two weeks. Stop deluding yourself. If you cannot play with bugs, and are not willing to report it with your system specs to the support team so that maybe the bugs can be found and fixed faster, then maybe PGI *IS* telling you indirectly to stop playing a product that is still in development.

Most of these bugs have been around for months. The no HuD bug existed in Closed Beta, albeit it wasn't as frequent back then.

LoL, I'm thinking of upgrading to 15mbs, ever since they downgraded my 5mbs limit by 10 gigs.

Must suck to live without Fiber. :D

If I were you, OP, I'd take a break for a month. After today, I think I will do that.
