Tourmaline Desert/map Drop Rates

I really dislike the Tourmaline Desert map, which in itself is not that bad, but combined with the fact that I drop on the same side of every map nearly every time just aggravates the problem

23.5% of all matches I play according to the my profile stats are played on this map, that is 23.5% of the time I will land on the same map out of a total of 9 maps which should be closer to 11.1% of the time. This makes playing MWO something I do less and less, I will periodically login, play a couple of matches and then get discourages because despite constantly adding new content, matches are playing out more and more the same.

Can you tone down the drop chances to appear on this map or at least equalize it between all maps combined with randomize the side of the map players spawn. And in the future be transparent about the drop chances of all maps.

According to my stats, I play on Tourmaline or Alpine peaks 39.2% of all games. So the "new" maps seem to get seeded 2x as often as 'old' maps.

This is really unfortunate as I hate Alpine peaks. I've more or less shelved my brawler mechs because Alpine Peaks, which I play on almost 1:5 drops, forces me to pack LL and gauss.

Alpine Peaks is in line with the drop rates on other maps for me at just under 3x less often than Tourmaline Desert

Alpine looks like a half-finished map. I played MWLL and I remember there being a lot of community-created maps that would put it to shame...and those were generally considered the bad maps. Alpine needs more character, it's just so "blah" right now. The terrain tends to make people play the exact same way each time. I'm actually glad when some light 'mech ends the game early by capping the undefended base, even if it's an enemy.

I like Tourmaline, but I play Assault mode only. Conquest is too flawed to play, and the bigger the map the worse it is. The few times I played Tourmaline on Conquest (forgot to switch to Assault only) it was a blatantly inferior experience. Tourmaline has great terrain though - it's interesting (especially compared to Alpine) and it has a way of making people use more of the map.
