Small Compensation

I would like to acknowledge that programming is not easy and bugs happen. I would also like to acknowledge that this is still considered BETA.
That being said, the constant bugs are are a detriment to play. Losing a functioning mini-map, crashing to desktop, inactive map screen, and failure to identify friend from foe are making playing difficult which lowers overall cbills and mech xp.
3 weeks ago (before the last patch introduced these bugs) the game was the most stable it had been since open beta so I finally decided to activate my premium time. 1 week after activation the bugs came back with a vengeance. If I had the ability to pause my premium time or undo my premium time activation I would do it.
So, I'm just wondering if we can see some kind of free premium time given for our frustrations.
thanks.

Delete all game files and re-install.

I have. If it were just a matter of reinstalling the game, the devs would say "All the bugs are fixed if you simply reinstall the game". But they are acknowledging the fact that numerous bugs exist and they are actively working on fixing.

You'll experience less bugs on a fresh install of the game. We used to have to do that every patch back in closed beta, remember?
Also, devs acknowledging that there's bugs and that they're working on it is normally considered a *good* thing.
I don't think you have much hope in getting compensation for bugs in a game that the publisher and devs consider being in beta.

When their premium runs out, do you think they will ever renew it?
I for sure know that when my premium time is used up I won't buy more.

The conditions for activating your premium time by clicking a button were posted well in advance before that last reset. So people trying to use that as an excuse to get a rollback on pre time is laughable at best. The game is in an announced beta phase, therefore spending money while in that phase is an inherent risk. If a small percentage of people are inconvinienced by any patch they are likely not going to get any refund, now if the game is unplayable (IE: unaccessable servers) then yes PGI would need to recompense.

What is this..... I don't know.....
Bumping for great justice and forwarding on.
And I Agree. Although its *in beta* , I know PGI is also very unhappy with the recent patches (See Matthew Craig's post). A few days/A week of premium time would be very much appreciated by many.
Cheers.

As a free to play game. I can only complain and yell at the screen when bugs ruin a game. But it doesn't warrant going on the forums for me. But since you paid. I agree with you. Perhaps compensation to at least the ones that paid.

I Have only re-installed once, This was after open beta and i forget why. So i have no idea why you or some people needed to so often.

No you dont, I never really had any issues with half the bugs that have been known in game since open beta that are game breaking... since open beta i _NEVER_ had a missing hud issue, in over an easy 900+ games, it has now happened twice since this patch. Which has really pissed me off.

Having a programming "bug" that is annoying; but you can still log into the servers and play matches against others is not game breaking, it's an annoying bug. Game breaking is something that will not allow you or anyone else to play the game....

Stop buying premium time.
If it is that much of an issue, then don't give them money. Right now, if you buy MC, for mechs or premium time, you should be fully aware of what you are paying for and what the current state of the game is. It isn't a bait and switch or anything.

Are you on drugs or just stupid? Having a bug so you cant tell who is who is not just annoying. Play conquest without any maps or at the top of your screen just the teams points, no scale that shows what bases you hold is not just annoying. Having no hub so all you can do is shoot and hope the mech in the middle of your screen (no crosshairs or anything) is not your teammate is not just annoying. They are game breaking and if you don't see that then pull your head out of your a33 and look around.

Oh what must i be thinking, disconnecting from the server mid game and booting you from it isnt broken at all.. It doesnt affect you at all when it happens often to your team mates...
