you can mouse over your allies and see their general health percentages, why don't we have such an indicator for our own mech?
also, the little Paper Doll cutout, and the yellow/orange/red colors, are rather limited, imo. are we ever going to see a Paper Doll that is more customized to the actual different shapes of mechs?
and what about better/more precise colors? say, green, yellow, orange, red, broken? more degrees of specificity would allow us to better assess our own mech health/status. it'd actually be ideal if each piece had a number % next to it, but that seems unlikely to me.

Why Do We Still Have Such Limited Info On Our Own Mechs?

The old HTAL readout would be rather useful, representing each section as a bar that goes down with the amount of armor removed.

Paper dolls shaped like the actual mechs would definitely be nice.
HTAL bar graphs for damage would be even nicer...
More than a health-percentage for ourselves, I'd really like to be able to see the loadouts on friendly mechs. How come we can tell what our enemies have, even down to what's been destroyed or if their AC5 has jammed, but can't tell anything about our friends?

More detailed info on our own mechs and allies would be greatly appreciated in game.

I've even asked my teammates to tell me what percent I'm at.

they have commented before that they plan to allow us to see our ally's configs. It's coming, just be patient. And as far as the paper doll shape, there is a post i found a while back that appears to be a tester playing in a MadCat, or a warhammer, Rakshasa etc, check out the paperdoll on this mech SHOULDER MISSLE BOXES!
