Well it's about bloody time Developers and Publishers started not just listing their dependencies, but also making them easy for the end user to download and install.
Well done Piranha.

Its called windows update, unless you're running windows XP, I'm pretty sure its part of normal updates.

Net 4.0 isn't a base update most of the time. Look under additional updates and you might have to work your way up to 4.0.

Over a year ago as recommended. Adding the installer for them is a waste of data they have to pay for with client updates when you as a user can follow recommendations from the OS provider.

You're under the assumption that every user frequently updates their software. This really isn't the case. It also means support doesn't have to figure out if a problem is being caused by an outdated dependency. Trust me, it's a good thing, and not a waste of time/data.

I actually took the original post as sarcasm not knowing the installer did checks like that (having installed .4 net and dx9 before i even installed this game), with the general tone of this place you can see why.

Oh. I would have never guessed the OP would be taken as sarcasm lol.
Um, should I reform it somehow? Or just put "not sarcasm" somewhere? /shrug
