I see plenty of armor left...

I do remember having at least one match where I survived with literally no armor on any component left ('cept maybe head, not sure on that one), but I don't think I bothered to screenshot that.

I have finished matches in much worse shape than that.

The last occasion I remember, my 9-AL got legged, both arms blown up, one of the side torsos gone, red CT and still standing at the end.

usually i go down before it gets to this, i mean i have survived with worse but i had fraps running ( for quick s/s ) so i took em lol

Just wait till you're piloting a one legged no armed centurion, with no armor, who managed to finish off the guy killing him.

The feeling is great.. Till you realize you now have to limp across the map just to contribute your two lasers to the fight...

I just shut down and went to get a sandwich.

Remember a couple of the no-armor bugs from closed beta? I did surprisingly well in a couple matches, think I got 6 kills in an Atlas running on internals only, lol

Ahah, yes, I know what you mean... there is a reason why centurions are considered THE zombie mech.

I like the feeling of limping across the battlefield pewpewing away, though. The match is gonna be over soon, for better or worse...

Ive seen mechs that are basically a dark red leg and a dark red CT and nothing else. I also think I killed a mech once that was like this by walking into it.

Its pretty common, especially when the game is a lag fest with bugs.

Survive with 17% of your mech left. saw this on a centuron a couple days ago and our whole team was in amazement that he was still hobbling around. we gave props to the enemy pilot for being able to manouver his mech so the dmg was spread around so much haha.

Making the final kill in a game that boiled down to an 1 vs. 1 after a fierce fight, having to use the small laser mounted in the head of the trial awesome, because everything else is gone... These are the stories that make MWO so much fun.

i recall surviving a match or two in my 4sp with both arms and torsos gone pretending to be helpful with my head mounted ML.

usually in these situations i just try to run around the enemy trying to get them to fire at me so they're not shooting my teammate who may actually have useful weapons left still to bring to the fight. my stalker seems especially fond of surviving with no weapons left for a bit allowing me to play moving target for however much longer it takes to get killed off- i enjoy charging lights in those situations just to see if they run or not cause it's pretty funny when they do.

I've finished matches much similar, one of our unit actually thanked me for the smoke screen I was providing for him. Was in my Hunch 4G, lost my hunch and arm early in the match, had the other arm and head mounted laser and kept on the front line firing. Had no armor on my center or left torso after when making the final push and lived to help cap as I wasn't going to catch the one light who went to cap us from the other team. Think my head was the only area not blasted to heck.
