I had been using a Logitech M510 Mouse with their Unifying USB cordless receiver and Setpoint software. However, something went bad and the Mouse or receiver stopped working so I got a different Mouse. Once I switched to the new Mouse, MWO stopped freezing into a CTD. I am running all settings on High or Highest like I used to and no crashes.

Not sure if there were any patches last week to fix the game Freezing bug, but I have had no crashes since installing the new mouse last monday a week ago. Prior to that I sometimes couldn't get past the first 3 minutes of a match without MWO Freezing up.

Possibly the M510 Mouse was just going out too.

Well of course this suggests a test (you beta testers) if you use Setpoint or the M510 Mouse and have an old wired USB mouse that doesn't use Setpoint.

If the game is Freezing 10 seconds to 3 or 4 minutes into a match, try running MWO with a non-Setpoint Mouse. My replacement Mouse is a wired Logitech G400 which uses Gaming Software 8.45. Just a thought.

Don't bother with it unless you have a spare Mouse lying around though, because I really have no idea why MWO suddenly stopped freezing on me.
