Christ. You guys are worse than a glitched out .mp3 player.

For you old guys out there, read "glitched out mp3 player" as "broken record." :)

Are they? Cause most, if not all, the current bugs have been known about since closed beta and they're still here.

Holy **** read that ******** thread.

*facepalm*

I was trying to keep it relevant to today's urban youth, lol. I am old enough to have grown up with a record player in the house!

Resources are a *****. Do note that PGI/IGP have been on a hiring spree for a long time now.

either these people saying having no hud or mini maps are ******* super men, or complete scrubs who don't use the tools they are given.

Or maybe we just don't mind a little "hard mode" now and then. :)

Sure, NoHud, NoIFF, and NoMap are irritating bugs that pop up with variable frequency from patch to patch, but they're hardly game breaking compared to PolygonHud, 4fpsBug, LoadToBlackScreenBug, or the numerous variations of CrashTo"X"Bug. Which also still appear with variable frequency from patch to patch.

And these are bugs that have quite literally, been around since 9 months ago.

In what software company is 9months for THE SAME BUG being in the product, an ok thing?

Unix is about 25 years old and has major bugs to this day
Linux is the most buggy and vulnerable OS on the market, partially as a direct result of basing it off the Unix Kernel
MacOS has security holes that have been there since the 90s that still say "visuses enter here" on the door

The only reason these 3 systems arent regularly compromised is that it`s not worth the effort to write malicious code for them.

More examples?

Oracle DBs are notoriously Buggy and have always been.
MS Exchange Server had a bug that could potentially cost millions of dollars in damage to a large company like GE, for the better part of a decade.

Or something closer to home:

Most AAA video games that spent 3 years in development at a high tier company still need a patch withiun the first month of release. Who leaves bugs in for 3 years without finding them and removing them, and then has the audacity to ask 50 bucks for the game? :)

Please tells us more about your manager job at McDonald's.

If you understand what you read, you would know I don't work at McDonald's...But either way. What I love how these fools only go on the forums looking for a fight. That's okay. Do you even know I asked another question? Nope, Just another person with no life, looking for a fight where there is no risk of anything happening behind your computer screen. Go back to eating snow

Funny, you started this thread looking for a fight and treated people like ****. Then you puffed your chest out, started insulting people, and tried to act like a badass by talking about how you step out of your car and **** people up, and that you're some super boss at a high tech job.

Since you obviously couldn't tell, I'm taking the **** on your pointless chest beating. The only one trying to act like some tough guy here is you.

Lol Did I attack ANYONE ON THIS FORUM when I started this Topic? No, I vented how the developers are more concerned about making cash then fixing something that has been a problem for a long time. Instead of a helpful hint, suggestions? What does some ******* ***** do? "Stop QQ-ing on the forums like [REDACTED] and act like a Beta tester. " Sorry I don't take crap from anyone. And neither should PIG, how do you shut them up? FIX YOUR ERRORS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR A YEAR. Christ I am done with you people spew whatever you want, do the world a favor, and don't breed

So you admit you started a thread entirely just to whine, *****, moan, and attack people in.

Neat.

If you actually were anything you claimed to be then you'd be a lot more mature than to go around throwing a temper tantrum.

After having read this entire thread I just had to post a reply.

This Meat Cutter guy isn't even drinking age and probably hasn't held a job for more than a couple months. It has been comedy in it's purest form reading through his sad attempts at sounding tough and the subsequent forum-stomping he/she/it recieved at the finger-tips of the "old guys".

Keep up the entertainment and I will check back in a few days to see what sort of trolltastic goodness has transpired.

Op has a point though, I mean as I said earlier, in what software company, is it ok to have well documented bugs 9+ months after release?

I understand that PGI/IGP is going for a slow release "look to the future" view of MWO. The reality however is that's going to cause the game to suffer. Some of us that are leaving, may come back in 6 months or so... other's will be tainted by MWO's screw ups and won't come back.

This game needs players, to get players, this game needs a fast dev cycle. And PGI/IGP is taking the long road.

And another lame thread is about to get locked because people start flaming. Use PM for web-warrioring, please.

Yeah, the new bugs suck. And yes, most of the big ones (the CURRENT HUD corruption issues, kaleidoscope, etc) are new, as of the patch before last. They're working on it, according to the dev blog and the patch notes themselves. If you want to talk about bugs that have been around since closed beta... where's the yellow screen or 6 FPS bugs? What happened to lag shielding? Gone, and those were way worse. Send in your support tickets, and give them whatever information you have so they can fix it faster, venting is ok I guess but hyperbole doesn't help.

I don't care if this is beta at this point because we're nearing release, This is a game crippling bug for many people that they are aware of and have been aware of since phase 1 of closed beta.

I'm sorry, but this statement of bugs being around since 9 months ago is 100% wrong. Maybe if more people submitted their crash log files, or program searching to find the problems, they would be solved faster. In Closed Beta, Radar was much more stable than it is now. Saying stuff like it hasn't be solved for 9 months is Extremely misleading, and is just plain slander.

Complaining doesn't do anything but **** people off.

Identifying, Observing problems is different.

Offering Solutions, and possible Fixes Is Even better.

Ranting is not equal to Observing

The Beta Terms of Agreement claims that you are aware of possible Unstable gameplay, and that PGI reserves the right to change its content at any time. It also states any Suggestions or Ideas submitted to their forums, or Website can be legally claimed by them.
