Its just me or this chasis is magnet for horrible pilots? Today i saw like 50 those, but only 10 were atleast average and like 2 were rly good. Rest... just hindrance for team.

So, is this chasis just bad or its their pilots fault? Whats yours experience?

Imagine that, new players driving a trial mech. Who would have thunk it?

From what I've seen in game, the 5N trial build isn't bad at all.

It's quite decent. However, new players are still going to take some time to get into the swing of things, even if they're not hampered by vastly sub-optimal stock mech designs.

They need to let us name these trial mechs... I want a support Hunchie called Igor, and a fast attack one called Quasimodo. And a Dragon called "Puff" <-- Just "Puff" for fear of copyright infringement concerns.

The loadout itself is horrible, and ofc the fact that no one knows how to use it.

Weakest chassis variant, trial load out.

The load out is custom, I designed it. It's a good 'mech, for a Dragon-5N.

I take issue with this.

You're playing against trials bro, or people who bought the champion mech, or me driving it because I toxxed myself on SA for votes. So yeah, it's you, not the 'mech.

I'm sorry but that's a thresher that does that, and it would clearly be a 6 AC/2 Jagermech.

Perhaps to you. It is easily the most kill-able Dragon vs. Ace pilots. XL's are death traps for noobs and that's all I aim for when I see it.

A mech picked by noob Devs, for noobs. The Catapult-K3 should have been picked, if anything.

A survivable 5N (for a newbie) would just be a modified 5N loadout:

DRG-5N(50)

Anyone halfway decent aims for XLs on 'mechs that are likely to have them. It doesn't make you an ace.

This is a great mech, and goes well with the current meta of the game.

Nice hard hitting long range 1, 2 punch that lets you focus on targeting one weapon at a time.

We played 8v8, my team all taking the Dragon 5N; rolled the other team 8-0 in one game and 8-1 in another (different team).

Very competent and viable mech. As long as players can get used to arm weapons.

Haha Bro. I'm pretty sure 10 K/D and up, 6 kill matches, makes me an ace. Sharin' E-Peens. Your Mech is bad for noobs, end of story. You or any good player like myself are the ones that know how to use specific builds.

Just strap DHS on everything and we'll cover up SHS Stock build balance, wax on some min/max, one at a time and say "we saved the community trials."

Dragons are inherently irredeemable piles of junk.
