I think about 75% of my teams have been **** this past week and the other 25% we stomp the enemy. What is the point of ELO if it doesn't do anything useful?

Seriously? Does everyone have to say such stupid things?
Sensible thread would get sensible response. Stupid thread gets stupid response. Either it ends up in K-town as a result, or everyone ignores it on the basis of the stupid content and it drops to page 3 faster than a has-been supermodel.
Edit: Derped and only just noticed you're the OP. There are at least two or three active multipage threads on possible Elo issues in the active thread bracket. Your opinion belongs in there, if you're following proper forum etiquette. If you're not, don't call other people out on it.

I'm only calling you out on a lame response that doesn't even make sense. If you're not going to be helpful, then why bother wasting everyone's time?

That's the helpful bit.

ELO is broken - no need for more threads on it.

Elo was designed for matching up 1v1. Modifying it to do XvX obviously doesn't give desired results.
PGI doesn't realize that there's more to configuring Elo for XvX than just calculating average scores on each team.
Seeing how they handle every balancing issue, that's not really surprising.
