more patches!! small changes! more testing for you!!

pgi/igp save your back and share the load! let us test!! please!! if you want balance then let us test for you! stop the slow internal testing that takes forever to get eg. srm damage changed. let us test those numbers.

This is pretty much what we're *supposed* to be doing as beta testers anyways...if only they let us do our jobs. :\

Actually, that's what we are doing right now as beta testers, its even in the name, beta TESTERS. The problem is PGI tends to forget/ignore their beta testers, who then foam at the mouth and turn the forums into a river of fire and rage when PGI don't listen to us and implements broken and or convoluted patches.

More use from the testing server would be refreshing for everyone.

Which would be better if the testers actually listened when they were given answers as to "why". ATD #42 clearly explained why convergence can't work for the foreseeable future due to technical limits and yet everyone is still bashing them with it and it's still one of the top voted q's for atd #43.......Not too mention noone wants to listen to or answer all the potential drawbacks of such a system

Maybe there should be a pinned thread with a synopsis and links to those ATDs here?

There are other suggestions to lower the amount of damage dealt that don't involve convergence.

And most of them have as many flaws as solutions....

1 example. The 1st sentence is the point. And like it or not getting this muti weapon heat penalty right will probably be the only method capable of stopping ppc/gauss alpha combos from appearing on the battlefield in some overly effective form while maintaining the variety of mechs/loadouts we have
